Many of our first-time customers share their surprise (not to use a stronger word) at how much easier their life becomes after they book our services. Maybe it is prejudice or lack of knowledge, but many people still find it difficult to accept the idea of booking a professional cleaner. So we will take this opportunity to address the most common misconceptions about the business and the services we provide in general.

“I think that I can do the cleaning almost as well as a professional!”

If we talk about mundane chores like doing the dishes or vacuum cleaning, then sure – even a child can do those. However, more intricate tasks like carpet stain removal or upper-floor window washing require not only skill but professional equipment as well. There are certain tasks you just cannot do with DIY materials or the tools you have in your home cabinet.

Then, there is the question of experience. You may clean a carpet once or twice per year or polish the windows every month. Our cleaners do it every day, putting into action the old maxim that “practice makes perfect”.

“Professional cleaning services are too expensive!”

I have heard this sentence literally a thousand times. The funny thing is that in 99% of the cases, the people who use it have never checked the prices on the market. They have no idea what it costs to have your carpets or windows cleaned or how much house cleaners charge per hour.

If they did, they would find out that booking a cleaner costs laughably little compared to your monthly phone bill, for example, or a dinner in one of North London’s fancy restaurants.

“Booking a cleaner for a particular task is reasonable, but do I really need regular help?”

It is more a question of lifestyle and not of necessity. Most people never stop to consider how much time they spend in vacuum cleaning or ironing, or dusting. Contrary to what you may believe, it is not a time well-spent – instead, these are wasted hours that you will never get back.

We are fully confident that you can find better ways to spend your time – read a book, watch a movie, go for a couple of hours on the tennis court, have a coffee with your friends or pick a new hobby! Anything would be better than trying to remove the stubborn water streaks from your front windows – especially if someone else can do it!
